I am holding to the promise God gave me that I would be a “Flourishing vine, and a joyful mother of children”. I trust Him daily to help me be a JOYFUL mother to the 5 blessings he has given me and my husband.
We homeschool our 5 little blessings, currently age 1, 3, 5, 7 & almost 9. We live “in town” as compared to ” in the city” or “in the country”. “The city” (really the suburbs) are 45 minutes away, and “the country” is about 1/2 a mile away. We live in a hundred year old brick house that we are slowly renovating.
I have not worked away from my children since I was pregnant with my first child, but I have worked outside the home WITH my children with me. I now much prefer to stay at home. After God, my family is my first ministry opportunity, all others come second.
I am a super-conservative Christian, not because it’s all I have ever been, but because of what all I have been. I know Jesus is the only way because I have tried others. I try not to judge others, because but for the grace of God, there go I.
I love to scrapbook, sew, cook, decorate cakes, and read. Reading usually wins.
